Passion Pit, a great entertainer, was great on stage. Unfortunately, the sound mix at this concert was horrible. The voices were borderline distorted, with instrumentals mixed very high. The concert seemed to aim for maximum volume without distortion. Fortunately, we knew most of Passion Pit's songs and lyrics. However, understanding what he was saying during interactions with the audience was difficult. The audio quality for Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion was similar. I attended a concert at NRG stadium in Houston with great sound, so blaming the large stadium doesn't seem right. If the audio had been better, this event would have been great. It's hard to recommend.
